BA0C7189Helping others is a passion of mine.  Through the years, I have seen first hand the power of therapy for the person that is ready and willing to trust the process.  Therapy is a powerful process.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Mississippi University for Women and my Master’s of Science degree in Counseling/Psychology from the University of West Alabama.

I offer therapy for adults and adolescents, couples, and families.  I have a over 14 years of experience in the field of social services.  I began my career in Community Mental Health working with seriously mentally ill individuals.  I also have several years in the field of Substance Abuse.  My most recent experience is in the field of corrections where I work with a variety of diagnoses from depression to personality disorders.  I recently completed specialized training through the Department of Deployment Psychology to work with veterans and active duty military personnel.

I am a certified Prepare-Enrich facilitator that is able to work with married and premarital couples.  I have also completed Levels 1 & 2 of the Gottman Method for couples.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor.  I take pride in the work that I do and am honored when clients choose me to help them work through their life’s problems.
